Charlie

Please meet Charlie. He is a beautiful grizzly bear from Yellowstone National Park. I was inspired to make him after seeing a picture of a friendly looking grizzly in a book about bears. Charlie has a lot of special touches based on that photo.

Charlie's coat is made from very soft cocoa brown alpaca. He is my first open-mouthed bear. His teeth are made from polymer clay and are anchored to his wire jaw.

Look into Charlie's eyes and you can see the field he is standing in and far off in the distance you can see the snow-topped mountains in Yellowstone.

Charlie has hand painted accents on his paws, muzzle, ears and around his eyes. He also has a white patch painted on his chest (just like the bear in the photo). His leather eyelids have been firmly stitched into place.

Charlie's nails were made using two different tones of polymer clay to mimic the claws of the grizzly in the photo.

As you can see from this picture of me and Charlie together, he is a big bear. He is 13 inches tall when sitting.

Charlie has a center seam which gives him a great part in his hair (again, based on the real grizzly).

Charlie has joints at his elbows to allow his arms to rotate down into a sitting position or swivel to the side to hold onto something (something being you when he is giving hugs).

His adoption fee is $330 and includes shipping anywhere in the US (email for overseas rates). Contact aerianna to adopt this beautiful boy!
