Mr. Darcy
Update: Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy now reside at the Dancing Bear Folk Center museum in Wyoming.
This is Mr. Darcy. He is a handsome, 17 inch tall grizzly bear.
Just like his namesake, he looks proud and proper but when you get to know him, you realize that he has a very sweet, gentle and kind heart.
I designed and handmade his suit, vest and neck cloth so he is truely one-of-a-kind!
Mr. Darcy's eyes are handpainted. He also has painted accents on his face, ears, tail and paws.
Mr. Darcy is made out of beautiful brown mohair. His arms and legs are jointed with wobble joints so he is extra cuddly! Because of the wobble joints, he cannot stand unaided so a doll stand is included free when you adopt him.
Mr. Darcy comes with aerBears' sewn in tag and attached hangtag signed by the artist, Aerianna.
All aerBears arrive beautifully packaged with ribbon, tissue paper and a lavendar sachet (so they arrive smelling like lavendar instead of a cardboard shipping box!).
Darcy is made with mohair, containing cotter pin joints, loose pellets and glass eyes therefore he is not suitable for children under 14.
